Admission Tests for Italian Universities

Students and job seekers need to write various tests for Under Graduate/Post Graduate program admissions. For which test a student will appear depends upon type of study program, requirements of institute and whether institute is located in home country or overseas.

International Medical Admissions Test (IMAT)

IMAT is an aptitude test used as a part of the admission procedure for an undergraduate Medicine course at Italian universities. These universities along with the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR), provide undergraduate medical courses that are taught in English and open to candidates outside of the Italian Republic.

General Tips and Tricks to Write Entry Tests

Practice: Practicing under test conditions is consequential because it provides that element of time pressure. Once you recognise what you are facing, you can hone your skills and strategy.

Focus on your weaknesses: Use the practice tests and your proven strengths and identified weaknesses as a guide to help you sharpen your study strategy. The topmost strategy is enhancing your strengths while improving your weaker sections. Be strong in all the parts of the exam in order to achieve the highest possible level.

Learn the Basics: Italian is a phonetic language. Begin your study of Italian by learning how to pronounce the alphabet, consonants, etc.

Time-Management: Time is the key to success. Budget your time.
